Not too original any more but fun to watch all the same.
Kids being better than you’ll ever be.
Features the riding of Mark McMorris, Danny Davis, Peetu Piiroinen, Jack Mitrani, Christian Haller, Werni Stock, Roope Tonteri, Marko Grilc, Ben Ferguson, Gabe Ferguson, Redmond Gerard, and more. From Danny’s signature Peace Park session at Squaw Valley and the Streets at Seven Springs, to massive man-made features, this group of riders has again raised the bar on park riding.
Some more snowboarding! The seasons getting closer and hopefully I’ll be out there for the duration of it. Watch this and don’t fear the cold, enjoy it 🙂 Some nice one footed tricks from Scotty.
And YAY, it’s the weekend!!
I went wakeboarding for the first time on Sunday, had a great time and managed to get up and around the course on my second attempt – I think snowboarding for 17 odd years definitely helped out. The following day though the pain in my upper body muscles was pretty bad. I thought tomorrow will be better and that it couldn’t possibly get any worse… two days on and I was terribly wrong! Simple things like getting dressed and washing my hands are painful and difficult – must do more exercise in preparation for the next attempt. Definitely worth it though.
Anyway, I just watched this video from Liquid Force with Shawn Watson and thought I would share. Enjoy the intro, the wakeboarding starts eventually 🙂
*Safeish for work.
Just incase you’ve been living in a cave the past week, cut off from the real world and managed to miss the new vid from Danny MacAskill, here it is. Enjoy his crazy skills!
Fernando Yuppie bombing some hills and having fun. Some close calls on the road, pretty crazy kid! If you don’t have all day to watch this then head to about 4:30
The timelapse video I just posted totally reminded me that I wanted to share this video from Sam O’Hare, ‘capturing a day in the life of New York City’.
The tilt-shift effect applied really makes things look like little toys, combined with the timselapse it gives even more of a animated/toy look. It’s been around for a few years now but I only watched it for the first time the other day, really impressive. Enjoy!
